Sitting on a Grass Roof
Enjoying a Wienerwald Spring morning on the grass roof of our shed
I could see a parcel delivery van turning into our side road and stopping in front of our house. On the parcel I spotted the letters “Seltmann PrintArt” and knew it was the delivery of the first two copies of Frozen Latitudes.
I heard my heart beat going up and felt joy flowing through my body.
I got up from the grass roof and climbed down the ladder to receive the parcel from the postman.
I climbed back onto the roof to unwrap Frozen Latitudes in quietness and with caution.
I placed the parcel on the tundra-like low vegetation of the roof and looked at the parcel to enjoy it from outside.
I unwrapped the book and was so pleased about the result and the achieved quality of the manufacturing process.
I felt gratitude to all who had helped and taken responsibility to produce Frozen Latitudes.
I touched the cover and felt the texture of the fly leave colored in the Frozen Latitudes blue.
I browsed through the book and realized that Frozen Latitudes have become real, also because of the book’s 2 kg weight lasting on my knees.
I climbed down from the roof to touch solid ground.
Now it was there!
